“Communicating Like Chrysostom,” by Fr. Evan Ponton and read by Tom Carani.

In his blog post, Fr. Evan Ponton discusses practical tips for individuals looking to grow in their communication and public speaking skills as a means of evangelization like St. John Chrysostom, the patron Saint of preachers, orators, and speakers and his feast day is September 13. To help improve public speaking, Fr. Evan proposes four exercises: 1. Know your who, what, and why; 2. record and review your delivery; 3. examine how other eloquent public speakers deliver their speeches; and 4. be comfortable with yourself and your personal style.
